French Country Style
Haverford PA

In this French-country design, the perennial border was carefully planned to appear natural and informal. There was intention to group the new plants in drifts and groupings to resemble patterns in a wildflower garden.

The overall landscape is a marriage of colorful cottage-style gardens that blend with formal "bones" of the property. There are espaliered fruit trees, clipped hedges and a Wisteria vine that hugs the house on two sides. It's a plant-driven style.
